Fighting Absurdity With Absurdity:
THIS SITE AND ALL CONTENT THEREIN IS ENTIRELY PERSONAL IN NATURE; THEREFORE THE OPINIONS, COMMENTS, BELIEFS, ET CETERA THEREIN MAY NOT BE CONSTRUED AS BEING THAT OR ENDORSED BY ANY EMPLOYER OF MINE, PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE, THOR, MARS, THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER, OR THAT BUM WHO JUST BILKED YOU OUT OF A CIGARETTE. BY THE WAY, THAT DUDE MAKES MORE PANHANDLING THAN YOU DO AT YOUR OFFICE JOB.
Hooray for the Internet.
Red Moon.
Red Moon is out.
Let this serve as another reminder that Yuki Kajiura is God.
Still working my way through the album, but really, it’s Yuki Freaking Kajiura – one doesn’t need to bother listening to know it’s overflowing with awesomeness.
Edit: Having listened to the album in its entirety several times, I’m having a hard time deciding what to make of it.
The problem I’m having is it’s too good. From the epic, sweeping, majestic, insert other well deserved adjective cliches here Red Moon, to the pointedly ending-like I have a dream, there’s not a single weak track to be found.
I must conclude that Yuki Kajiura is a musical robot sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor.
…That, or as I’ve been saying, God.
As an added bonus, there’s some XS III-style bits thrown into various songs. That thrills me. Then again, it’s likely classic Kajiura, but since XS III > all, there you go.
Note: Still working out comments/etc. theming. Please ignore the ugliness.
