About

Ah, yes, the requisite ‘About Me’ page. Where to begin? I was born in 1981 in the city of Wilkes-Barre upon the shores of the Susquehanna. And I am immortal.

Instead of getting rich during the dotcom era, I chose to remain in college and learn nothing of real value – how to create forms in Visual Basic, how to create elevator simulators in Java, and why I should hire a bookkeeper instead of attempting to manage balance sheets. Actually, that last one is pretty valuable, come to think of it.

In 2009, I began my on again, off again residency in Sacramento, and as of June 2010, am living here on a hopefully not too permanent basis.

For the past over 9000 years, I’ve worked primarily at Workhabit as a Co-Founder and Senior Systems Administrator. On a day to day basis, I generally deal with product development and ongoing administration of systems (fitting, I know). I primarily deal with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) based systems, which tend to be specialized for use with Drupal sites in high performance configurations. I occasionally have time for low end, low impact ‘fun’ stuff.

It should go without saying, but sadly cannot, that the views, opinions, statements, et cetera contained within this site are personal in nature and may not be construed as being those of or endorsed by my employer.
