CentOS, my distribution of choice, isn’t as UUID-happy as other distributions are.

Suffer not the commodity box to live.

I will never again work with systems that don’t have iLOM.

Solaris is difficult for a Linux user to understand; I believe it might have to do with a complete lack of committee and the inability to take one’s configuration ball and go home.

You have forgotten something.

Thankfully basic network configuration isn’t a black art on most distributions these days.

Xen remains my favorite virtualization solution for Linux.

CentOS and Xen have always made a great pair. They’re even better together when you ignore the 3.0.x packages RedHat distributes with RHEL 5.x.
